You’re kidding me
You know how the Windows version of Tribes 2 is free for download? Well, what about the Linux version? I've been search the web for the linux version, but everywhere I look, it costs more than $40! What is this crap!? Don't I at least get some sorta discount for having an actual disc for the Windows version? And, of course, a search for "linux tribes 2" on fileplanet didn't give many useful results. Though I did end up getting a linux patch to version 25034 (the latest version). And what's even better, is that the file name, tribes2-25034-cdrom-x86.run, contains cdrom in it. So, maybe it'll be like the Quake2 install, where it uses the files from the Windows CD, but installs a Linux version. If so, yipee! The 500mhz could be turned into a dedicated server for Tribes 2 now, and I'll also have this file ready for when I get my computer, so I can actually play Tribes 2 without having to switch to Windows.
