Everything seems to run just slightly better now that I'm in Arch. It might because I'm not using the old fragmented filesystem, it might be because I'm using XFS instead of Ext3, it might be.. a number of reasons; but Opera certainly doesn't seem to have as many issues as it used to have and Compiz runs beautifully now (it had some minor slowdown under Ubuntu for some reason). Also, the nvidia drivers provided by Arch's repos don't have the WHITE-ALL-OVER-YOUR-GAMES,-IT'S-LIKE-YOUR-COMPUTER-SPOOGED-ALL-OVER-THE-GRAPHICS issue that those provided by Ubuntu's did (which makes me wonder if Arch is using version 100.14 (the last one that didn't have the issue) or if nvidia finally fixed the issue in 177.82).
Looks like I'm running 177.80. Neat.
