The dinner conversation tonight was pretty hilarious. Everyone was in a really good mood. It was extremely enjoyable. All dinners should be like that all the time. Kevin was pretty out of the loop, I wonder if Amber filled him in.

Alex from down that hall just got his EePC in today. It is small. Ridiculously small. It only has a 4GB Solid State Drive and a battery life of approximately three hours. It is $350 for what is essentially the only laptop in the world I would ever buy. It is small enough that I do not need to have a dedicated carrying case, it can fit right inside my bag. It is the perfect laptop to bring to class to take notes or whatever. If I had the money, I would totally buy one. 4GB SSD is fine, I can just mount AndrAIa over the network anyway for more storage. It ships with Xandros, which I think is based off of Red Hat (don’t quote me), but anything can be installed on it. Though why you would put a hog OS like WinXP on such a minimalistic machine is beyond me.

It would be really nice to have one, but maybe I’ll wait for the buggers to drop in price before I start seriously thinking about purchasing one.

I am convinced that the only way to type on the thing is to cut off your hands and a baby’s hands and graft the baby’s on to your bloody wrist nubs.

Laundry finishing time is now.

that jumping up and down and smiling and saying “yes yes!” is a good response.

Stephanie and I are going to see Enchanted Saturday night. I should probably order the tickets online in advance.. Saturday nights and big movies == sell outs.
