I have some completely awesome friends. There is a facebook group and photos will be up shortly. Corey estimates we (and by ‘we’ I mean ‘they;’ I was the lightest and therefore deemed the one who should stay in the car to steer) pushed that bastard anywhere from half a mile to a full mile. It was from 26th and State, east half a block to Wabash, then south to the Keating parking lot at.. 37th?
Aubrey, Corey, Grace, Joy, and Nicole definitely win the “oh my god you guys rock but are slightly insane for willingly subjecting yourselves to the cold” award.
Nicole once deemed my arm to be a future casualty of cuddling. I think that my glasses will go first. Obvious solution: take them off. Problem: I like seeing.. oh, say, the TV that we may be watching.
Sometimes I get merely shocked in the ear. Other times my Zune shuts off completely. That can’t be good for it. Freaking static electricity.
Twice.
Well, maybe one and a half times. The precalc exam shouldn’t be too terrible. I just looked over last year’s exam and it looks fairly alright. The TA taught the review session and did a pretty good job. She’s no Galina when it comes to tutoring, but I’ll take it. The 330 exam (discrete math) will be terrible. Corey shares my sentiments when he says “I’ll be happy if I get a twenty on this exam.” It’s gonna suck balls.
In other news I have decided to name my hypothetical, next computer Ophiuchus (I heard it pronounced once on the History Channel (it was somehow related to the Free Masons) as “oh-fye-kus”). Sometimes you just find a name that sticks. I forget how I came up with AndrAIa for my first (and current) machine, but I remember going through name after name after name before I finally settled on Din for my second computer. And by second computer I mean Brian’s old one that I repurposed into a MythTV box (hence why the first is still my current). I wonder when I’ll be able to buy and build Ophiuchus.
Ugh. Fucking school. Sometimes I just think that I’m not cut out for school.
I turned off the light and looked in the mirror and remembered that the power symbol on this shirt glows.
“Hello! I have your number!”
In my mostly asleep state at 3:19PM I thought it was Alyssa. But that doesn’t make sense because she never would have called me anyway. Corey said it sounded like Patricia. That makes tons more sense.
