Zombies like to enjoy themselves too
I was playing Typing of the Dead for quite a bit today and finally beat chapter 6. Infact, I beat it twice. The first time I beat it, Goldman jumped off the building and blew up when he hit the ground. The second time, however, he jumped up and flew away. Craziness. Well, here are some more pictures. typingofthedead2.jpg is from a while ago, but typingofthedead3.jpg and zombiedance.jpg are from today.

OMF: Battlegrounds
One Must Fall (OMF, OMF:2097)was an old game for DOS. I think I still might have the 14mb CD ISO somewhere. It was a fighting game where you took control of a gigantic robot (you weren't in the robot, some sort of neural link or something) and fought another gigantic robot to win various tournaments. Was a fun game with quite a bit of depth. There were 11 different robots (one of them was a secret robot, you couldn't choose it in the single player or two player game and you had to buy it in the tournament mode. It cost a crap load of money and wasn't always available). In tournament mode, where I spent most of my time, you had to fight through a tournament, get money from winning, spend the money on upgrades, and go through the next tournament. Eventually you'd get to the final tournament and hopefully become the champion. You'd start out with the basic Jaguar robot, but would later be presented oppourtunities to buy different robots. Personally, I liked the Jaguar. Nice and fast, good attacks, nice specials (laser shots are always nice, as is the Jaguar Leap). This game was truly awesome.
That was just a little background on One Must Fall. Apparently, One Must Fall: Battlegrounds has been released. I used to be watching this one closely, but it was in development for so long that I had just kinda given up on it. I got bored today, and was looking for a Windows port of the original OMF, when I came across a download for the OMF:BG demo. Demo?? Hey! That must mean the game is out! And, indeed, it is. So, I'm downloading the demo right now, it's 200 some meg. Hopefully it does justice to the original game...

This was my favorite map in Goldeneye, and it's practically the only map I play in Perfect Dark (except for maybe the hidden Fortress map). When I finally get Doom 3, I'll have a custom map already! w00t! We'll probably play this at the LAN Party too!
Tomorrow! Tomorrow! Something something only a day away?
Doom 3 comes out TOMORROW! Yay! If Mom orders my computer tonight, I'll see if I can also order Doom 3 from EBGames and get that free 2-day shipping offer they have. Then Doom 3 should arrive either slightly before my computer, or on the same day as my computer. Um.. .. Doom 3!! Doom 3!! Doom 3!!
Hahah! Take that Win98!
