What?
Apparently I installed this app called the "Honesty Box" on Facebook a while back and totally forgot about it. I don't see the point of it really, but I got this just today (it says twenty-three hours ago, but the notification popped up today):

I let the person know that I feel like a jerk because of that.
This is going to bother me.. who is it?
Update 3/21/09 @ 7:40PM CDT: That message was apparently sent on Christmas Eve. That makes it less likely that it's who I thought it was. What confuses me is.. who would send that on Christmas Eve? Who would send that? What bothers me is, why did the app take so long to send me the notification?
In other news, spring break has been great. I beat Resident Evil 4 for the second time on Saturday, I think. Started playing "The Mercenaries" minigame again just yesterday, first time in over two years I think (last time I remember playing it was freshman year). It's a pretty fun distraction from... lots of things. But then I found out I had a java assignment that was given to us on the day of the exam (who does that?) and is due by midnight on the last day of spring break (who does that?!). So, that's what Friday and Saturday's time will be spent doing... yay..
Well, time to get to that. I need to get some work done before dinner, hang out a bit with people after dinner (Mario Kart), and then get some more work done.
Where am I?
I am in Fallout 3's belly. It has consumed me. Hopefully I will pass through its bowels soon enough so that I can get on with my life.
Yup.
I think I just play video games better while tipsy/drunk. It's really fun :) Plus I've got my music going in the background (in addition to the game music, but I've gotten good at separating the two) and I've got this embarrassing habit of trying to dance along with the music... especially this techno-y remix of the Mega Man 9 menu theme (and anything else with a good beat)... It's fun :)
Not-So-Rage and Nostalgia
The rage I held towards Mega Man 9 just a few days ago has turned into determination to kick its ass. Phil and I have been trading off trying to beat the stages of the game. So far we're through with all the robot masters and into Wily's castle, but that's proven itself to be a bitch so far.
After some frustration with Mega Man I decided I should visit my SNES rom collection. I've got an SNES emulator on my Wii (as well as GB/(A|C) and NES emulators) and I realized that I have The Lost Vikings for SNES! So I stuck in the password for the last level and decided to give it a go. Well, I've gotten further on that level than I.. ever have. I grew up playing this game in DOS back when I was but a wee kid, and I've FINALLY gotten past the first part of the last level. It's a good feeling :) I wanna replay the whole game now.
Mmm Delicious Hangover
Yeah.. booze is the answer... totally.. No. I'm an idiot. But! I do feel a hell of a lot better (emotionally that is, physically too after a lot of sleep and some expelling of stomach contents). I guess that counts for something? Now to get something to eat and drink.. I have cookies from Nicole! Thanks! :D
Why is there a documentary about dragons (as if they were real) on the Science Channel? Patrick Stewart is narrating! This program stays on.
I need a new game to play.
Oh right! I downloaded Star Wars Episode 1: Pod Racer for the PC! I wonder how it compares to the N64 version?
