For some reason I felt like I had to update. Not quite sure why, or what I was going to say, but just that I had to update... 'Tis a weird feeling when you're updating, but you dunno what to update about... Um, Mary invited me to Justine's 16th birthday party tomorrow. So I should be going to that, if Dad doesn't already have anything planned for Saturday from 6 to 11PM. That means I gotta hurry up on my card design... I'm desiging her a card in Photoshop. Mary suggested I put a picture of the three of us (Mary, Justine, and me) when we were young. Yet I have none, nor does she... She has one with me, her, and David S., and she has a separate one of Justine. But photoshopping her into the picture? That just doesn't seem right, and it'd take much longer than I have to get it just right... So I dunno what I'm gonna put on the card now... All I've got is the obligatory "Happy 16th Birthday." Help!

Oh, and if you're trying to e-mail me, don't. For some reason thunderbird/netscape mail client is saying to make sure that I have write access to my mail folder and to ask the admin if I don't... WTF? The MyDoom virus recently hit Comcast's mail server's again. I've been getting shitloads of e-mails from other Comcast users, and myself... I know I don't have the virus, i'm not stupid. But, please! Stop opening attachments damnit! OK, um, well, I think I have to go soon...

::cries::

I'm ashamed to say that I actually went to that school...

The reason I found that is because our Web Page class (along with ALL of the other classes in the district, 4 highschools) are being called to revamp some of the school's websites, because they think it'd be "profitable" for them.  Damn penny pinching bastards.  But atleast I get a chance to fix a horrid piece of shit...  Try and find some links.  Click on them.  Then try and highlight the text.  I bet you can't.  Try it, I dare you.

I'm gonna write a letter to the principal of the school, and to the head librarian (who, hopefully, has some technical background) explaining what's wrong with the site; how parents may be turned off, get frustrated, and give up when trying to navigate the site; and just how horrible it is overall without using any words like "bad," "horrible," or "sucky."

Wish me luck.  I hope I do get to redo Browning's site.  It's shit.  Plus it wouldn't look to bad on a resume.

hello

Um, yea.  I don't really have anything to say...  Brian got me interested in Quake 2 again.  A nifty little mod called giex.  It's sorta like an RPG where you level up and gain experience and such, but there are these pickups that are spells, upgrades, weapon enhancements, and a few other things.  It's pretty cool.  And what's even cooler, is that it saves your character (why does that not look right?) to the server, so you have the same stuff when you log on next, including ammo and health and armor.  Unfortunatly, it doesn't have a master server like Vortex and KOTS (King of the Server) did, but it's sitll quite fun nonetheless.  And what's better is that people STILL play it!  When was q2 released??  '96?  I guess a fun game never gets old.

And now, I leave you with a random comment from slashdot (that, oddly enough, also applies to me =P):

Usually I restrict myself to exploiting bugs and loop-holes of the in-game world (as in not blatant cheating), but I used to play this free MMO called Graal (it was based on Zelda, and was originally just Zelda Online until they changed the graphics), and I loved to use trainers in that game.
One of my favorite things to do was help n00bs get their items so that they wouldn't get beat up (PKing was rampant), so when someone would ask me where to get an item, I would tell them to follow me, I would hit the button on my trainer, lift up a bush, and out would fall a lvl3 sword. Unfortunately, the company began to take drastic anti-cheating measures, and the poor n00bs who got my hacked items ended up with their characters in jail! The guilty part of this is that it really made me laugh, and I would have done it to my friends if I could get out of the jail.
Graal was a game with low death penalties and you could hit another player almost anywhere in the game, so one of the best pasttimes was to hunt people down. Me and a friend changed our names and appearance and hunted our newbie friend down once or twice, and I remember one time on a small server when I was a little bored, someone named Lycia was bothering me or something, so I yelled out "Lycia hunt!" and about 6 or 7 of us chased her down and killed her.
