Don’t get me angry, you
Don't get me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry...Tune into the Sci-Fi channel every weeknight at 6PM EST, 5PM Central, for everyone's favorite big green guy who loves smashing things. The Incredible Hulk is now on Sci-Fi. It's the old series from... the 70s? Not sure when my mom said it was from. Today will be the fourth day that it's on.
Now go watch Mr. Smashey smash things! Go! Smash!!
W for Wendy’sWe went to
W for Wendy'sWe went to Wendy's yesterday for dinner and they were training a bunch of new employees. It was funny cause when david and brian ordered their two jr. bacon cheeseburgers minus the bacon, the guy was like 'what? There's no minus the bacon button' and the other guy just stared at us. At least the manager understood... She pointed the guy to the button, lol. They like the jr. bacons without the bacon because the jr. bacons have mayonaise (sp?) whereas the jr. cheeseburgers (which I get) have ketchup and mustard instead. Anyway... the guy making the sandwiches was obviously new too, cause the manager had to tell him to put only two onion rings on, and only two pickle slices on, and that when you put the ketchup and mustard on you put it on in the shape of a W, W for Wendy's. I thought that was interesting... and a little weird. Do McDonald's and Burger King do Ms and Bs, respectively?
Wow, i don't remember posting this many times in one day... Oh well
LinkageI added a few more
LinkageI added a few more links on the links page. I added a link to RPG World (another webcomic), OverClocked Remixes (a site where you can find remixes from many MANY games), and The Warp Pipe Project. The Warp Pipe Project is a project designed to allow Gamecube games that support LAN play (currently Kirby's Air Ride (in japan) and Mario Kart Double Dash! (not yet released)) to be played on the internet. The project started when the... uh... 'man in charge' imported two copies of Kirby's Air Ride and set up a LAN with one (1) computer, one (1) Linksys Router, and two (2) gamecubes each with their own broadband adapter. The computer was used to monitor the net traffic and see what data's being sent, what ports are being used, etc. Something like this has already been done for the Xbox, before Xbox Live! was released. Games such as Halo could be played via system link (i.e. LAN, I think it used the ethernet port on the xbox), but with (computer) software such as Xbconnect, Xtunnel, or whatever they called it, these system link games could be played online. This is great for the Gamecube, it could boost sales, although the Warp Pipe Project isn't affiliated with Nintendo. But Nintendo's goal in the long run is to develop an online gaming service that DOES NOT cost the end user any money (other than the modem/broadband adapter) to use.
And now to quote an old song...
'The Future's so bright I gotta wear shades'
If you can explain to
If you can explain to me why you want to sleep with me without using the letter's a, e, and i. You can sleep with me.If you can answer that I'll let you sleep with me. ;) lol But seriously... David is afraid of sleeping by himself for some reason... He hasn't started doing this until very recently. It's like 'OK, you slept fine in your room last night, but now you come into our room crying because you're afraid that zombies will take over the world? What the...!? Zombies aren't fricken real! And they can't take over the world! They're slow, stupid, and they drag they're foot for crying out loud!!' or... 'No, someone will NOT break into the house and take you away while you are sleeping. Trust me, I'll be watching ::runs out of room::' or... 'Aliens are not gonna probe you...' or... 'The house won't burn down...' ... the list goes on... It's annoying... So.. last night Brian gave david that challenge up there (except he didn't say 'me', he said 'us'). He couldn't get it. He thought and thought... And thought some more... Then he gave up (like always) and asked dad for help. So dad comes in and says 'Let him sleep with you, he doesn't have anyone to sleep with him in his room. You two have eachother.' (Brian and I share a room) ... And sleeping with one of us will get rid of the fear of zombies, fire, burglers, and aliens... how? What's really annoying is that brian and i always talk before going to sleep. But, david goes 'shh!!' whenever we try to talk... Then he starts talking. It's like WTF!? You don't want us to talk, but you talk! So we always go 'shh!!!' to make him stop talking...
... Yay, he's sleeping with us again tonight... Oh well, he's in my way when I have to turn off the alarm. I guarentee him that he'll get stepped on, I don't even try, it's his own fault for sleeping on the floor. He doesn't care... He'd rather have both of us in pain (if I trip and hit my head on the desk, for example) than be afraid of stupid crap for half an hour then fall asleep... He'd fall asleep much faster in his own room then he would in ours (cause we talk). And in the morning I have to watch where I roll my computer chair, it's not my fault if his blanket gets caught in it (or his foot), he's the one that chose to sleep there.
...good night all...
Site Update!I didn’t do anything
Site Update!I didn't do anything really noticable, just made the links there on the left a separate file. They used to be on every single page, so when I had to edit something or add a new link, it was a pain because i had to go through every page's code, now I can just update the javascript file and it'll be updated on all of the pages. It's the same concept behind my journal. If you go to the template page that I was working on, you'll see the same exact journal entries as you see on this page. That's because my journal is also an external javascript file.
While I was working on that, I decided to add a links page, with links to some of my favorite sites. Hope ya enjoy!
BTW: That template page will most likely NOT make it onto the main site, I was just messing around with a new template idea, but realized that I like this template way WAY too much.
