Looks like I'm going to be on probation next semester or something.
At this point it is not possible for you to pass the class regardless of the result of the final exam.
And I thought I was doing well in this class too.
So I just spent all night working on a shell script I didn't have to when instead I could've been working on malloc or my paper? Great!
Actually, no. That does not put me on probation. It puts me at a 2.16GPA assuming I get all C's in the rest of my classes. Hell, I could get all D's in the rest of my classes and be balancing very precariously at a 2.04.
I'm not fucked per se, but goddamn I might as well be.
There is no greater cause for feeling like shit than self-disappointment.
Time to sleep.. then get up early in the morning and work my ass off...
She Codes C Shells by the C Store

The past day (as in, twenty four hours) has been spent jumping from coding a Unix shell in C for CS351 to scripting in BASH for ITM302.
I have played not nearly enough Fallout this weekend (that is, I haven't played any). Is this what it feels like to be productive? I don't like it. I fear I will sleep away all of Sunday and not have any chance to finish these labs up by the due date.

Note: I am really upset that all the outlets that I know of in McCormick lounge are taken. I would like to study elsewhere other than my room. It would be more conducive to knowledge absorbtion (that looks too much like abortion).
I am withdrawing from Chem for this semester so that an E or a D does not wreck my GPA and so that when I can finally arse myself to care about things that don't freaking matter (seriously, chem for a CIS major?) I can retake it and hopefully do decently enough in it.
Yay for all-nighters
I've got both a chemistry and psych exam tomorrow. The psych exam should be no problem, the chem exam is going to be major balls. I don't necessarily approve of the idea, but it may end up that I have to retake this course at some point (ideally I'd never have to take it, it's pointless for my major and thus I have no reason to do anything for it). So far I've got two of the chem lab calculation sheets done. The writeup/report part should be fairly easy. Whip that out a bit later after I try to study the book material for the exam... Ugh. Gayness all around. School can go blow itself.
