Originality is what counts
In Web Page, we've got this on going project that's due in about 3 weeks. You've gotta make a web site using what you've learned in class, and what you've learned from outside sources. Well, since I've been done with the Project 2 work for a few days now, I've had some time to start this (though she just assigned it today). I downloaded the stylesheet set up by MT and the links.js file that I use for the links. Of course, I'm gonna modify both of these files. I'm starting from scratch, however, on the index.html. Since I don't really have an idea of what I want, I'm gonna be trying a bunch of different color schemes and layouts to see what looks good and what doesn't. I still have no idea what to put on it though. Should it be a personal type page? Should it be a business type page (made up business, real business)? I have no freakin' clue! lol I wanna get the layout/color scheme down first. After that's done, it'll be pretty easy to add whatever content I want to. And hey, you never know, I could end up using it as my new layout on this site! I gotta make it look good though, cause there's only about 3 or 4 of us in that class who have had any prior knowledge of HTML. And since I've been making web pages since the fourth grade, I should be able to do a lot. Keyword: should. I'm pretty sure I can do it though. Just gotta use some tables to my advantage, and I could easily have a nice little navigation/info bar on the top or the side. Infact, as I found out today, I don't even need tables. The stylesheet can position things wherever and whenever I want them (ok, maybe not whenever as much as wherever), although tables are easier to work with, I could use the stylesheet to my advantage too. I should've uploaded the stuff to my site while at school, so I could work on it while at home then reupload it for school, but I'll do that tomorrow.

I left my Chem goggles in the cafeteria, damnit... I'll have to buy another pair from Ms. Fonfara, but they should only be like $2, so it's not that bad..
It gets harder and harder to come up with interesting titles for these entries.
See my layout for this page? See that bar on the left? View the source code, check the style sheet, no where (that i've seen) is there code for that bar to be on the left! It goes like this (this is after the first body tag, and it's not HTML):

There's no "align='left'" or anything! It really pisses me off because I wanna move some of those elements over to the right side of the page, and because I wanna know how they did it! OK, well, not really. But still. I have lunch 4th hour, and German 5th hour. Today was a "food day" in German, where students were assigned to groups (am Montag) and were given a recipe that had to be cooked by Wednesday. My group made these weird little cookie things with cherries on top. They were actually pretty good, as was all of the food there. The only problem was that I had gotten a sub for lunch the previous hour, so I was pretty full as it was... Oh well, it was still cool, we even played German Scrabble (we just ended up making English words, using the letters with umlauts (the two little dots over certain vowels, I'd type on in, but I dunno how in Linux) as regular letters.) So, um, yea. Not much to say.
Ahh… good ‘ol Air Conditioning!
Ahh... good 'ol Air Conditioning! It's hot outside and i had to walk home from school (about a half-mile) with a heavy backpack that had practically everything from my locker in it! But now that I'm home, i'm glad! Just sit back and relax. I've got my history and english exams tomarrow, history is the only exam i'm worried about. I took science and communications today, and i'm taking math and lifeskills exams the day after tomarrow. I'm almost done with Resident Evil! I died on the first Tyrant(big big big monsters that do major damage near the end, there are only two of them)... It's hard! And what's worse is that I don't have any Magnum ammo left! So I gotta use my Assault Shotgun and Handgun, and the Handgun is weak as hell! Well, some good news in my world of video gaming: I got a copy of Final Fantasy VII for the PC. I started playing it last night and I got to the first save point! WHOO!! Go me! Heh... A little to excited there.. It's a great game though, some people say it's the best Final Fantasy ever. I wouldn't know, it's the first Final Fantasy that I've been able to play. Well, school's almost over, and I'm gonna set fire to all my papers from this school year! BONFIRE! Who ever wants to come, can! lol I actually think I through an assignment into the barrel, so before i light it, i'll have to fish it out. Wow, I typed a lot! Well I should save some of my energy till later.

Well i just found out today that Kristy's using me... Why do i bother? All she wants is to copy my math homework. Well only 4 more school days left and by the time summer is here i'll forget all about her. everything about her... ah jees... i'm getty all mushy.
On a lighter note, only 4 more school days left! I think i said that already, but i'm saying it happily now!
I love the shirt i wore today, except i think it shrunk in the wash. It has 3 strings of binary going straight down the shirt in blue on black. When translated it says 'You Are Dumb' i love it. You can see it here.
