Slate Theme Page Up
Check it out under the templates page (link in menu bar). Save for how the comments box is displayed, it's actually a pretty good representation of the old school theme. The only reason I'm listing it is so that I don't totally forget about it. I used to have an interesting layout for my old Blogger site, but I've lost that to the ages. Kinda disappoints me, actually...

Because I think I just fixed it... :???: I didn't even know there was anything wrong. Oh well, at least I caught it.

Alright, I've done quite a bit of work. I got the contact page to work properly, but the archives page is totally effed up, and the links page still isn't right. I managed to get the comment text box to fit within the theme (it was extending beyond the width of the background, before), this helped an issue in IE where the comment box totally broke the alignment. Speaking of IE, IE displays the archives page decently, whereas Firefox jams the footer all the way up. Hm.
I'm thinking of changing the border of the background to a blue, to accentuate the border and make it stand out, but I can't see how that would look as this machine doesn't have Fireworks (or even Photoshop), and I don't have time to install it. I've decided not to change the images from .png to .jpg, as there really is no reason to do so. They display just fine in IE, so all is good.
I still don't exactly know how to make the posts stand out from each other a bit more, that'll be a tough one to figure out. Hm.
I'll tweak it a bit after I get home from work later tonight.

Wow
I got a lot of work done! It's still not all right, yet. Some of the pages are very goofy, and it's kinda hard to tell where one post ends and the next post begins. Guess that's just some stuff I'll have to work on before work tomorrow.
Wow. I still can't believe I got this much done! I designed the images last night (Thursday night), and did everything else tonight (Friday night). Wow. Guess that's what happens when one is determined, eh?
Things to do:
- Get page template up and running
- Correct pages' content
- Add templates for generic pages (contact information, archives, etc.)
- Make it easier to differentiate between posts
- Convert images from .png to .jpg
- Figure out why page is not centered in IE
- Anything else...
