Joy also came to me the other night with a little problem: How to take a list of emails formatted in a cloumn in a spreadsheet and make a comma delineated list out of them? By the time I finished a quick little perl script to do this, Joy had taken the output of the OpenOffice.org .csv files (which put quotes around each email which were in turn each on a separate line) and gotten gmail to format it for her. I was slightly saddened that my little script never saw usage, but.. hey. It was still a good exercise
